The excretory system eliminates waste from the body.
This process is called excretion.

The kidneys clean the waste from our blood.
The waste combines with water to make urine.

Urine travels down two tubes called ureters.
Urine is collected in a bag called the bladder.

When bladder is full, the urine leaves the body.
The urine leaves the body through the urethra.

The body also eliminates waste through the skin.
It removes this waste in the form of a liquid called sweat.

We sweat when our body temperature rises.

We have sweat glands that produce sweat all over our skin.

Sweating also help us keep cool if we get too hot.
